| Changes to Delivery Terms for Box 20 |

On the 1st of January 2011 the International Chamber of Commerce introduced changes to the Incoterm Codes to be used in international trade. The following Incoterm codes DAT (Delivered at Terminal, Name of terminal) and DAP (Delivered at Port and Name of Port) were added, and the use of codes DAF, DES, DEQ & DDU was discontinued. The new terms will be known as Incoterms® 2010. Further information is available from the ICC website. Note: The ending of above codes and introduction the new codes will be introduced into the AEP System with effect from the 17th February 2011. Appendix 9 of the AEP Trader Guide has been updated accordingly; click here to download the updated guide. Business Rules The business rule regarding the use of Value Build-up declarations is clarified as follows: When Delivery Terms (BOX 20.1) is “EXW”, “FCA”, “FAS”, or “FOB” then Box 20.3 must be “3”, and Box 44 must contain at least one of the following Value Build-up codes “1V20”, “1V21”, “1V22”, “1V23”, “1V24” or “1V25”. |
